No Need to Panic, You're Not on the Titanic: A Humorous Incident at the Armenian-Georgian Checkpoint
A humorous incident has occurred at the Armenian-Georgian checkpoint. According to an ArmDaily.am correspondent, there are currently queues at the checkpoint again, as there are times when the queues are longer, especially when several buses are crossing the border.
In general, tourists have noted that border control has been tightened, with Georgian border guards checking all passengers individually, including their hand luggage, even down to a bag of bread.
The correspondent reported that when one Armenian citizen, breaking the queue, approached the checkpoint, a Georgian border guard reprimanded him, saying, "Why are you cutting in line, everyone is waiting." The Armenian citizen found a way to ease the tense situation by stating, "No need to panic, you're not on the Titanic." After these words, those standing in line and the Georgian border guard began to laugh.
