Protest Near the Court

The trial of ten defendants, including Pavel Manukyan, Varuzhan Avetisyan, and others, continues at the Shengavit residence of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction regarding the case of the seizure of the Police Protection Battalion (PPB). Witnesses are providing testimony.

Meanwhile, supporters of the defendants are once again staging a protest outside the court. They are demanding the change of the pre-trial measure for two detained defendants, Armen Bilyan and Smbat Barseghyan.

It is notable that they are accused of the murder of three police officers. All other defendants have had their pre-trial measures changed and were released on bail or personal guarantees, but Armen Bilyan and Smbat Barseghyan remain in custody.
