Vahe Grigoryan Denies: I Have Never Had Any Contact or Connection with the Author of the BBC Article
Constitutional Court Judge Vahe Grigoryan addressed the allegations directed at him on his Facebook page, considering them misinformation.
“Regarding the article published by the Russian service of the BBC on July 8, 2019, titled ‘Who Shot the Demonstrators in Yerevan in 2008? The Investigation Pointed to a Squad from Karabakh,’ I have not transmitted any information, documents, or other materials to any media outlet or representatives thereof, nor to any individual outside the legally prescribed framework, either before assuming the office of the Constitutional Court judge or especially afterwards. I have never had any contact or connection, direct or indirect, with the author of the aforementioned BBC article. We have had no communication whatsoever,” he stated.
It is noteworthy that yesterday, Politik.am published an article titled, “Vahe Grigoryan Ordered the BBC Article of March 1 at the Instruction of Sasun Khachatryan.”
