Air Temperature to Increase by 4-5 Degrees: Gagik Surenyana
The head of the Hydrometeorology Center of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations, Gagik Surenyana, wrote on his Facebook page that due to the influx of tropical warm air currents on July 31 and August 1, the air temperature across all regions will rise by 4-5 degrees. In Yerevan, the Ararat Valley, and the Syunik lowland area, daytime temperatures are expected to reach +39 to +40 degrees Celsius.
On August 2-3, the air temperature will again decrease by 4-5 degrees. A high fire hazard situation will persist in the republic's lowland and pre-mountain areas over the next five days.
