All Cases Under Judge Davit Grigoryan Will Be Handed Over to the Office
The Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction has announced that all cases currently under Judge Davit Grigoryan will be handed over to the office. This information was provided to NEWS.am by the Judicial Department.
"All cases under Judge Davit Grigoryan will be handed over to the office and will be redistributed through a computer program according to the legally established procedure," the Judicial Department reported.
It is noteworthy that on July 26, acting Prosecutor General Armen Harutyunyan submitted a request to the Supreme Judicial Council for permission to initiate criminal proceedings against Judge Davit Grigoryan on charges of committing official forgery. The following day, the Supreme Judicial Council decided to suspend Judge Grigoryan's powers by law.
Previously, on July 16, a search was conducted in Grigoryan's office, resulting in the seizure of three computers, as well as devices and documents related to the case of former President Robert Kocharian.
It should be noted that Judge Davit Grigoryan was also overseeing the case involving the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, and others.
