16-Year-Old Girl Falls from 'Devil's Bridge', Airlifted to Yerevan
A 16-year-old girl who fell from the 'Devil's Bridge' today, July 27, was airlifted to Yerevan.
On July 27, at 12:40 PM, a citizen fell into a gorge (approximately 20 meters) in a section known as 'Devil's Bridge' in the village of Tatev, Syunik Province. She had gone there for an excursion.
Rescuers pulled her out of the gorge and brought her to an ambulance. The girl was initially hospitalized at Goris Medical Center and later transferred by helicopter to Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center in Yerevan.
She has sustained multiple injuries, including an open cranial injury and a pelvic fracture. Her condition is serious but stable, and she is under close medical supervision.
