Car Accident in Lori Province: Nissan and Ford Transit Collide, Nissan Falls into Ravine, Injuries Reported
On July 23, a car accident occurred in Lori Province. Around 16:20, on the 7th kilometer of the Alaverdi-Bagratajen road, a Ford vehicle with license plate 26 UL 449, driven by 45-year-old Garegin Miskaryan from the village of Arjistis, collided with a Nissan vehicle bearing license plate 35 VN 785.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the collision, the Nissan ended up in a ravine, and the driver of the Nissan and his two passengers were taken to Alaverdi Medical Center with injuries.
Officials from the second battalion of the road police’s second division, led by battalion commander Smbat Norekian and platoon commander Ara Shahnazaryan, arrived at the scene.
The investigative work at the scene is being led by the investigator Garik Meliksetyan, who is preparing materials regarding the incident.
The police are working to identify the driver of the Nissan and the injured parties.
