There Have Been and Will Be Similar Incidents: Osipyan on Attacks by Homosexuals
I have worked in the police system for many years, and there have been and will be similar incidents. This was stated by the Chief of Police of Armenia, Valery Osipyan, to journalists in Ijevan. He referred to recent incidents where homosexuals have used violence against police officers in the precinct and have verbally abused law enforcement in the streets.
“We need to minimize this and try to do everything in our power through our conscientious service to eradicate such an attitude. There are citizens who, seeing a small number of police officers while being in a larger group, think they can do anything and break the law. This is not the case; our forces are sufficient to bring anyone to order and hold them accountable in any part of Armenia,” he said.
