The Public Has the Right to Know How Websites are Funded: Mariam Pashinyan
The public has the right to know how the media outlets they read and trust are funded or operate. This was stated by Mariam Pashinyan, the daughter of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, on her Facebook page.
She emphasized, "There are representatives of media outlets who think they are so accurate in their content that they deserve 'pressure.' When content and quality are discussed, this is also considered 'pressure.' They present this 'pressure' in whatever way they want, linking it to their good, oppositional, honest image that supposedly only presents the truth."
