According to information received by the newspaper 'Joqovourd', discussions are currently taking place within the law enforcement system regarding the potential dissolution of the Special Investigation Service (SIS).
Specifically, there are rumors about the creation of an anti-corruption agency and the dissolution of the SIS. In this context, it raises an interesting question about how corruption cases will be classified, given that corruption is a widespread phenomenon.
Moreover, there are rumors circulating within the law enforcement system suggesting that it is possible that after the establishment of this new body, the current head of the SIS, Sasun Khachatryan, may resign from his position, stating that he will no longer lead.
'Joqovourd' attempted to clarify this information from the SIS, where they responded that they do not possess such information and urged to verify the details with those who have made the claims.
