Minor Hits Cyclist in Yerevan with Mother's Car
Today, on June 6, a pedestrian accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 2:40 PM, a 17-year-old Davit Hovhannisyan, a resident of Taronc'i Street, struck a 40-45 year old male cyclist with his Mercedes, registered under the number 36 AC 040, in front of building number 56 on Shirak Street.
According to Shamshyan.com, the injured cyclist was transported to the Erebuni Medical Center with a severe diagnosis by an ambulance that arrived at the scene.
A photojournalist reports that the car is registered under the name of the minor's mother, Zhanna Hovhannisyan, who is currently at the Charbakh police department. By-standers at the scene mentioned that the Mercedes hit the cyclist while crossing over to the opposite lane, and that citizens were the first to assist the injured, followed promptly by medical personnel.
