Body of Newborn Found in Water Drain Near Musaler Village

A mysterious incident occurred in the Armavir region on June 2. Around 8:40 PM, a report was received at the Vagharshapat police department from the village mayor of Musaler, who informed that a body of a 3-4 day old baby boy was discovered in a drainage channel within the administrative area of the village. The drainage channel begins from Lake Yerevan.

According to Shamshyan.com, police retrieved the body from the drain, and a forensic doctor is currently conducting an examination.

In connection with the incident, materials are being prepared in the investigative department of the Vagharshapat police. An investigator is also working on-site. The police are taking necessary operational and investigative measures to clarify the circumstances of the case and to locate the child's mother.
