‘Zhamanak’. New Appointment: What Is Pashinyan’s Objective?
‘Zhamanak’ newspaper reports that in the coming days, former Glendale City Council member and multiple-time mayor Zareh Sinanyan will be appointed as the Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs under the Prime Minister.
By appointing a representative from the diaspora to this position, Pashinyan may be attempting to restore the trust of the diaspora in his government, which has significantly deteriorated following the decision to dissolve the Ministry of Diaspora.
