Car Accident on Martuni-Getap Road: Two 21-Year-Old Injured Hospitalized

At 03:10 today, May 29, the emergency hotline '911' was notified of a car accident in the village of Dzovazhad in the Gegharkunik region, indicating that there were injuries and the need for rescue services.

A firefighting-rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was discovered that a vehicle, an 'Opel' (driver P.K., born in 1998), had veered off the road on the 11th kilometer of the Martuni-Getap section of the M-10 highway, rolling about 10 meters into a field.

The rescuers extracted the driver from the vehicle and assisted him to the ambulance.

Both the driver and the passenger, G.M. (also born in 1998), were hospitalized at the Gavar Medical Center. Doctors assessed G.M.'s condition as satisfactory, while P.K.'s condition was categorized as moderate severity.
