Car Accident Near Kanakeravan: One Vehicle Falls into a Ravine

On May 29, at 03:14, the "911" service received a call reporting a traffic accident on the Zovuni-Kanakeravan highway, near the beginning of Kanakeravan. Two cars collided, but there were no reported injuries, and rescue assistance was needed.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that a "Volkswagen Polo" (the driver's details remain unknown) collided with a "Lada Priora" (driver: G.M., born in 1991). As a result of the collision, the "Lada Priora" veered off the roadway and fell into a nearby ravine (1 meter deep), flipping over.

Rescue teams managed to right the vehicle. However, specialized equipment is required to retrieve the car from the ravine.
