Did Armenians Die in the Burning Airplane? Armenian Embassy in Russia Investigates
The Armenian Embassy in Russia is investigating the presence of Armenians on the airplane operating the Moscow-Murmansk flight. This information was reported on the embassy's Facebook page.
Earlier, it was revealed that a plane caught fire during landing at Sheremetyevo Airport.
According to RIA Novosti, the Aeroflot Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft, which was performing the Moscow-Murmansk flight, returned to Sheremetyevo Airport 28 minutes after takeoff and made a hard landing. The aircraft was only able to land successfully on the second attempt due to poor weather conditions. During the landing, the aircraft's supports broke and the engines caught fire.
As of now, it is known that there are 13 casualties.
