Ararat Mirzoyan to Make a Statement on the Proposal to Strip Tsarukyan of His Mandate: Makunts

A recent closed meeting of the ‘My Step’ faction has just concluded. The faction leader, Lilit Makunts, informed reporters that several issues were on the meeting's agenda. Makunts also mentioned that the declaration from the ‘Citizen's Decision’ party was discussed. However, the faction has not formed any position, and various opinions were expressed.

She stated that Ararat Mirzoyan was present at the discussion, and since Gagik Tsarukyan's demand to revoke his parliamentary mandate has been addressed to the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan will make an additional statement. She noted that a brief reference was also made to the incident involving Prosperous Armenia MP Sergey Bagratyan.

“At this point, we do not consider that these have a political subtext. Time will show what is behind all of this—whether there is a political context or not,” said Makunts.
