2.36 Million Dram Bonuses in Shirak Province, Governor's Name Not on the List
The Governor of Shirak, Tigran Petrosyan, awarded bonuses to 12 employees of the provincial government on April 19, including Deputy Governor Vardan Grigoryan and Deputy Chief Secretary Tigran Gharibyan.
According to the official website of the Shirak Governor’s Office, the governor’s relevant order states that he was guided by Article 16, Part 1 of the Law on Civil Service, Article 9, Part 17 of the Law on Public Service of the Republic of Armenia, Article 6, Part 6 and Article 22, Parts 9 and 10, of the Law on Salaries for Persons Holding State Positions and State Service Positions. He decided to reward the employees for faithfully performing special tasks and work responsibilities from the funds allocated for 'Awards, Monetary Incentives, and Special Payments.'
The majority of the awarded employees are heads of departments, with only three being ordinary employees from various divisions.
In total, 2,362,130 drams were spent on the bonuses. The largest bonus of 307,384 drams was awarded to Deputy Governor Vardan Grigoryan. The Governor did not receive a bonus.
