I Allowed That Individual to Complete Their Speech: Naira Zohrabyan on Pashinyan's Concern

“The Prosperous Armenia party has clearly responded to the Prime Minister's concerns; moreover, more than what the party leader Gagik Tsarukyan and my colleagues have said, I have nothing to add. I have acted solely in accordance with the law and have not violated any provisions. Furthermore, I allowed that individual to complete their speech. You understand very well the sensitivity of the issue; you very well understand that such matters should not be brought forward in such a staged manner to try and create a spectacle and declare that we are making history here today,” said Naira Zohrabyan, a member of the Armenian delegation participating in the spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) in Strasbourg, during a conversation with reporters.

It is noteworthy that journalists directed her question related to the concerns expressed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan regarding whether the head of the Human Rights Protection Committee meets the minimum requirements.
