Hraparak newspaper writes: Responding to the issuance of a passport to a transgender person by the Republican Party, Arakel Movsisyan, known as Shmays, said, “I do not need to know who issued the passport, the Republican Party has always been against such things… I don’t know if they are gender or gyondor… The guys from the Republican Party would have been against it. They would have kicked them out.”

“Armenia is not a place for genders; it is a country in a semi-war state, it is a place for men.”
