David Sanasaryan Testifies in Court
The head of the State Oversight Service, David Sanasaryan, is in court. A correspondent from NEWS.am reports that David Sanasaryan is testifying in the case of Andrias Ghukasian, who is accused of organizing mass disturbances in Yerevan.
It is reminded that Andrias Ghukasian is accused of organizing mass disturbances on July 29, 2016, in Yerevan. According to the indictment, he attempted to join an armed group that had occupied buildings in the territory of the Patrol Police Battalion of the RA Police on July 17, 2016, to arm himself, illegally carry and possess firearms and military ammunition, and to continue holding the occupied premises and hostages in concert with the group members; however, the crimes were not completed due to circumstances beyond his control.
On May 7, 2018, the measure of restraint of arrest taken against Andrias Ghukasian was changed to a personal guarantee not to leave.
