Russia and Turkey to Simplify Visa Regime
The Russian Federation and Turkey will undertake efforts to liberalize the visa regime, with plans to resolve the issue of visa cancellation for professional drivers in the near future. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a press conference summarizing the results of his meeting with his Turkish counterpart.
According to the РИА Новости agency, the Russian president noted that Turkey is becoming increasingly popular among Russian tourists and emphasized that last year, the number of Russian tourists in the Republic of Turkey surpassed tourists arriving from other countries.
It is worth mentioning that today, a meeting took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
