Video: Artsakh Must Be Placed Under Russia's Mandate, Samvel Babayan

Recently, in an interview with 24news, Samvel Babayan discussed the resolution of the Artsakh issue, stating: “...In the world, acute problems are solved through mandates. For example, if we consider the Caucasus under the influence of Russia, they are the ones in control here—that's where the mandate comes from. Russia draws a map, and the people gradually develop... I envision the resolution of the issue differently. I believe it should be a mandated area. Otherwise, there is no solution to the problem through Azerbaijan-Armenia or Azerbaijan-Artsakh negotiations.”
