29-Year-Old Man Attempts Suicide from Victory Bridge

On February 14, at 8:00 PM, a call was received by the "911" service indicating that a citizen was threatening to commit suicide by jumping off the Victory Bridge in Yerevan, necessitating the assistance of rescuers.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a firefighting and rescue unit from the Emergency Situations Ministry, an operational group from the National Crisis Management Center, and a psychological counseling instructor from the Psychological Support Division were dispatched to the scene.

At 8:40 PM, rescuers and police officers thwarted the suicide attempt of A. H. (born in 1990).
