Macedonia Officially Changes Country Name
The government of Macedonia has officially announced that the country has changed its name to the Republic of North Macedonia. This was reported by Bloomberg.
According to the country’s Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov, this is a historic event that will also positively affect relations with Greece. “We cannot change our past, but we can and must create a future based on friendship, partnership, and cooperation,” said Minister Dimitrov.
Changes to the signage of state institutions have already begun in Macedonia.
