Investigation Agencies Are in a Bind Due to Their Own Statements: Joughour
«Joughour» newspaper reports: “After the Velvet Revolution, law enforcement agencies entered a competition, initiating criminal cases against officials of previous authorities and ensuring publicity for these cases. However, the situation has changed today. According to the information we have received, law enforcement agencies have moved from words to action.
The matter is that after the Velvet Revolution, the investigative bodies initiated several high-profile cases, bringing them into the spotlight. However, during the investigation, individuals involved in the criminal cases have compensated for the damage caused to the state or assisted the investigating bodies in clarifying the incidents.
As a result, the investigative agencies find themselves in a predicament due to their previous statements; they are unable to close the criminal cases, constrained by earlier remarks and the public's attention.
Details in tomorrow's issue of the newspaper.
