From Police Chief to Ordinary Officers: Bonuses Received
The Public Relations and Information Department of the Police of the Republic of Armenia has addressed the issue of unpaid promised bonuses to military personnel of the police who have risen to positions.
The police have denied these reports: “A publication has circulated in the media alleging that the promised bonuses have not been paid to police personnel who have moved up to their positions.”
“Let us clarify that police officers, from the police chief to ordinary ranks, including those on combat duty, have received the legally mandated bonuses at the end of the year.”
“Moreover, regarding officers who have performed combat duty, a separate order signed by Police Chief Valery Osipyan on January 23 will also provide them with additional bonuses.”
“We urge media outlets, when preparing publications, to seek reliable and comprehensive information by contacting informed and relevant authorities.”
