Eliminate Products Containing Glycidol: Rospotrebnadzor's Appeal to the EAEU

Rospotrebnadzor has called on the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) to establish maximum permissible levels of harmful glycidyl esters and glycidol in vegetable oils and fats. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.

It is noted that the formation of esters is due to the technological processing of vegetable oils.

Currently, Rospotrebnadzor is preparing materials for the Eurasian Economic Commission regarding the procedures for amending requirements for food products subject to sanitary and epidemiological inspection.
