Los Angeles Police Start Investigation into Armenian Schools Incident

The Los Angeles Police Department has initiated an investigation into the incident where unknown individuals placed Turkish flags on the gates of Armenian private schools. This was reported by the Los Angeles Times. The police are reviewing surveillance footage and plan to increase security around the schools.

The incident has raised concerns and outrage within the Armenian community in Los Angeles, labeling the act as a hate crime aimed at instilling fear among the Armenian community and belittling the Armenian Genocide.

During the night, unknown individuals hung Turkish flags at two Armenian schools in Los Angeles. In response, Armenian students removed the Turkish flags and replaced them with Armenian tri-colored flags.
