Gevorg Kostanyan to Become Either NSS Chief or Attorney General: Zhamanak

The newspaper 'Zhamanak' reports, 'The authorities of the new Armenia have found themselves in such a personnel vacuum that they are relying on a prominent representative of old Armenia, former Attorney General Gevorg Kostanyan.

Kostanyan, who holds a doctorate, has taken an exam for the vacant position of Deputy Chief of the NSS. However, this position will merely serve as a trampoline for him, as it is expected that shortly after, he will either occupy the role of NSS Chief or the position of the Republic's Attorney General.

In addition, Kostanyan recently gave an interview to the press where he announced that Azerbaijan is preparing a $50 billion lawsuit against Armenia, perhaps hinting at his experience in representing Armenia's interests in European courts, which could prove useful for the authorities in this matter.'
