Pashinyan Should Disclose What Negotiations the Regime Conducted on the Artsakh Issue: Jirayr Seferian

Regarding the Artsakh issue and the ongoing negotiations, I believe it would be appropriate for the current government, personally Nikol Pashinyan, to disclose the process of negotiations from the past 10-20 years to clarify what negotiations the previous regime, as a criminal regime, conducted at all.

This was stated by Jirayr Seferian, a member of the 'Sasna Tsrer' Pan-Armenian Party, on his Facebook page.

In his post, he particularly stated:

“As for the negotiations taking place today, we believe that Mr. Pashinyan should demonstrate a completely different approach in this matter. First of all, we must abandon the so-called Madrid Principles, and a new framework for negotiations should be brought to the forefront, which can only work in favor of our people. If these actions do not take place in the coming days, I believe that concerns will deepen about the possibility of another process occurring behind the back of the people, which would bring no positive outcome for us. Mr. Pashinyan has work to do in this regard. I am confident that our people are behind the current authorities; therefore, the authorities can sit at the negotiating table confidently and protect Armenian interests without conforming to the previously exhibited defeatist and treasonous tendencies. We all remember the four-day war, which was the peak of betrayal. We are also convinced that if there had not been an adequate reaction in the country—referring to the actions of the Sasna Tsrer—it is likely that this treasonous trend would have continued; however, with the actions of Sasna Tsrer, we were able to prevent all of that.
