This is the Yerevan City Council 'детка', this is not for you 'Azizyan' - Khachatryan to Hayk Marutyan

Former member of the Yerevan Municipality's 'Yerkir Tsirani' faction Marina Khachatryan is demanding a public apology from Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan. She wrote about this on her Facebook page.

“Mr. Marutyan, while you were busy filming another series of 'Azizyans' and filling the airwaves with indecent, low-quality, and counter-educational texts, the opposition forces of the previous city council were putting their lives and health on the line to save the governance of Yerevan. Thanks to the efforts of those people, the council began to operate as a truly overseeing structure for the municipal government. I believe it is simply ungrateful and shameful to disregard their work. Moreover, I am confident that it was also due to their activities that a revolution was possible, granting you the mayor's chair. Nevertheless, failing to recognize their work and struggle is your subjective approach and problem,” she wrote.

Khachatryan demands that Marutyan publicly apologize for his statements and cease providing 55,000 drams in compensation to current city council members.

“Since we are not convinced that they will accomplish any beneficial task for our city upon receiving that money. This is the Yerevan City Council 'детка', this is not for you 'Azizyan',” she wrote.

Recall that Hayk Marutyan stated yesterday during a council meeting that the former 'Yelk' faction received 55,000 drams in salary and did nothing.
