Over 1000 Fish of the Carp Species Seized

From December 18 to 20, staff from the Environmental and Mining Inspection Body carried out joint inspections with police to uncover illegal fish sales.

Specifically, in the administrative districts of Erebuni, Avan, Arabkir, and Ajapnyak, a total of 1002 carp fish were seized. After conducting laboratory tests for food safety, the fish were handed over to the "Zorak" care center for individuals with mental health issues, the special educational complex for children with hearing impairments under the Ministry of Education in Yerevan, and the "Yerevan Number 14 Special School for Children with Visual Impairments".

The inspections will continue on a regular basis.
