Protest: Seven Months of Unanswered Letters to the New Government
For seven months, we have written letters to the new government, but have received no response. This was stated today by the former employees of the "Nairit" factory gathered in front of the Republic of Armenia Government building, who demand the return of unpaid wages and penalties, as well as the resumption of the factory's operations.
“Our specialists, together with European experts, conducted an audit about two months ago and concluded that "Nairit" could be restarted with an investment of approximately $105-110 million. There is now an investor willing to invest up to $150 million, so we demand a meeting with the Prime Minister to finally understand the government's stance on the factory,” they said.
