18-Year-Old Russian Attempts Suicide in Yerevan

An 18-year-old citizen attempted to commit suicide in Yerevan.

According to Shamshyan.com, on December 18 at around 00:50, the police were alerted by the number 1 university hospital, reporting that an individual had been transported to them by the emergency medical service with "irregular cut wounds on the lower and middle thirds of the right and left forearms."

Upon arrival at the hospital, police discovered that the victim had been transported from the "City Hotel" located on Saryan Street, where he was staying. According to G. Shamshyan's sources, he is 18-year-old Erik Khachaturov, who inflicted knife wounds on his arms.

Police from Sputnik Armenia confirmed that the young man had already been discharged from the hospital today.

Following the investigator's decision, a forensic examination has been appointed.

This information has already been confirmed by the Deputy Head of the Police Public Relations Department, Edgar Janoyan. According to preliminary information, the young man is a citizen of the Russian Federation.
