Wild Animal Skins Put Up for Sale: Alert Raised
The State Environmental and Mining Inspectorate of Armenia has reported on its Facebook page concerning the sale of wild animal skins. On December 16, user Lusine Taslakyan raised an alarm regarding the sale of wild animal skins near the entrance of the Garni Temple.
The Inspectorate informed that its employees from the Kotayk regional department visited the scene, where they discovered the skins of 2 foxes and 1 wolf. At that moment, no other animal skins mentioned in the alert were found.
Materials prepared by the inspectorate regarding the incident have been transferred to the Police for further investigation.
