Government to Cover Yuri Vardanyan's Funeral Expenses of 1 Million 386 Thousand Drams

The distinguished master of sports of the USSR, world-renowned Armenian weightlifter, Olympic champion, and world and European champion Yuri Vardanyan's funeral expenses will be reimbursed with 1 million 386 thousand drams allocated to the Prime Minister's Office. This directive was issued in one of the Prime Minister's decisions published on the government's website.

The expenses will be covered from the program aimed at supporting 'Ceremonies and funeral arrangements for citizens with special services to society and the state, maintenance of graves, and preparation and installation of memorial stones,' as allocated in the 2018 state budget of the Republic of Armenia.
