Updated Information: Which Roads Are Impassable
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia reports that as of December 14 at 18:30, there are impassable roads in the territory of Armenia.
According to the MES, the Goris-Sisian-«Zanger» highway is impassable.
The Vardenyats Pass is impassable for light vehicles and closed for heavy vehicles.
In the city of Aparan, Aragatzotn Province, as well as in the villages of Tsilkar, Alagyaz, Ushi, Artashavan, and on the roads of Mashtots-Lanjik, Artik-Aragats, Vayk-Jermuk, Sotk-Karvachar, and the Sevank-Terqaghzot-Dilijan tunnel, there is black ice present.
Snowfall is recorded on the Vardenyats Pass, Saravan-«Zanger», Sisian-«Zanger»-Gorhayk roads, as well as in the Shirak Province, in the cities of Aragatsotn Province Astarak, Aparan, and in Gegharkunik Province Sevan, Vardenis, Chambarak, and in Kotayk Province Hrazdan, Abovyan, Yeghvard, Charentsavan, and in Vayots Dzor Province, Jermuk, Vayk, and in Lori Province, in the city of Spitak.
There is fog on the «Meghri Mountain»-Goris road in the Syunik Province.
