Azerbaijani Community Leader Expelled from Russia in Moscow
The leader of the Azerbaijani community in Moscow, Bakhtiyar Hasanov, has been expelled from the Russian Federation. According to the Azerbaijani Press Agency's Russian bureau, Hasanov, who had been held at a temporary detention center for immigrants, was transferred from there to the airport and expelled from Russia.
It is worth noting that Bakhtiyar Hasanov, the head of the Moscow Azerbaijani National-Cultural Autonomy, had his Russian citizenship revoked last year. In June of this year, law enforcement arrested him and placed him in the temporary detention center for immigrants.
