Armenia Ranks Second in Importing Live Pigs from Russia
According to expert assessments, from January to May 2026 (excluding EAEU data for May), Russia supplied over 113,000 live pigs to foreign markets, with a total value of nearly 20 million USD. In the same period last year, exports amounted to around 86,000 live pigs, valued at more than 14 million USD, reports Agroexport.
As a result, the volume of deliveries has increased by 32% in quantity and by 39% in monetary terms. In 2026, the supplies are mainly directed to Georgia, where exports have exceeded 15 million USD. Armenia ranks second with over 4 million USD, followed by Kazakhstan with approximately 400,000 USD.
