Investigation Concluded on the Candidate of 'Armenia' Alliance and Headquarters Leader

The Investigative Committee has announced that the preliminary investigation regarding the candidate for parliament from the 'Armenia' alliance and the head of one of the headquarters has been completed.

According to the Committee, during the investigation, evidence was obtained indicating that between April and May 2026, H.D., a candidate nominated by the 'Armenia' alliance, and H.S., the head of one of the headquarters, materially incentivized S.M. to participate in the alliance's gatherings.

The report states that they promised to pay the citizen 150,000 drams under the guise of employment. Following the directive of the supervising prosecutor, public criminal proceedings have been initiated against H.D. and H.S. for materially incentivizing participation in a gathering, as outlined in part 2 of Article 236 of the Criminal Code.

The criminal case has been sent to the supervising prosecutor with a prosecutorial conclusion.
