Argenaz Manukyan's Detention Appeal Has Not Been Assigned to a Judge for Two Weeks, Lawyer Says
According to lawyer Tatevik Sogoyan, the urgent appeal against the illegal detention of Argenaz Manukyan has still not been assigned to any judge of the Court of Appeals two weeks later.
The reason for this delay is due to the work of Judge Manvel Shahverdyan, which has led to the case materials not being properly sent to the Court of Appeals.
This is the same judge whose decision caused a 13-year-old girl to lose the opportunity to communicate with her mother.
The legal team has already contacted the president of the court in writing to clarify the unnecessary delays and will, if necessary, also file a demand for disciplinary action against the judge.
