Pashinyan Raises Question About 'Juto' Culture in the Army

During a government session in Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan raised concerns regarding the presence of self-formed groups in the army. He spoke about the band members, noting that in our perception, the band members must be 'juto'—it is indispensable, without 'juto,' it is not possible.

Pashinyan pointed out that this is a criminal issue. He mentioned that if a social survey was conducted in Armenia, it could reveal that, hypothetically, x% of the boys are 'juto' or exhibiting 'juto' behavior.

The Prime Minister added that we do not question where this comes from, but every day, at least once a month, during the best time on Sundays, we showcase this. The army must present a fragmented appearance, a 'juto' situation, so that help comes from elsewhere for the army to function.
