Aharon Sahakyan Resigns from Kotayk Governor Position and Moves to Parliament

“Aharon Sahakyan will be relieved of his duties as the Governor of Kotayk Province of the Republic of Armenia starting from July 31, 2026,” states a draft decision.

Aharon Sahakyan was appointed to this position five years ago, in May 2021. He has been elected as a member of parliament from the list of the “Civil Contract” party, and he will take up his parliamentary mandate and transition to the legislative body.
