Arthur Nazaryan Elected President of the Armenian Basketball Federation

At the extraordinary meeting of the Armenian Basketball Federation held in Yerevan, 33 out of 34 delegates participated. They unanimously confirmed the procedure for discussing all issues included in the agenda through open voting.

The first item on the agenda concerned the election of the president of the Armenian Basketball Federation. Those present heard the speech of presidential candidate Arthur Nazaryan, who presented his vision for the development of Armenian basketball, upcoming programs, and priorities.

As a result of the voting, Arthur Nazaryan was unanimously elected president of the Armenian Basketball Federation.

Nazaryan has worked for many years in the Armenian Basketball Federation, holding the position of secretary general and coordinating organizational, international and development programs. Since 2012, he has served as a FIBA International Commissioner, and in 2025, he will be included in the educational program of FIBA Academy, recognized as one of the leading specialists in sports management.

Previously, the position of president of the Armenian Basketball Federation was held by Hrachya Rostomyan.
