We Must Expel Those Who Weaken Armenia: Kocharyan
Five years ago, did anyone think that the government in Armenia could directly attack the church? No. Did anyone consider that there could be such an assault on our identity, that Mount Ararat could be pitted against Mount Aragats? Probably not. Now it has become clear that these questions are being closed off to put our identity under threat.
Such a statement was made by Robert Kocharyan during a pre-election campaign. "We must expel those individuals who are doing everything to weaken the Republic of Armenia. We have no other choice because the Republic of Armenia is at risk," he stated.
