Appeal Against the Release of Garegin II from Pretrial Restraint
The Office of the Prosecutor General of Armenia will file an appeal against the release of Garegin II from pretrial restraint. This information was announced to the media by the Prosecutor General's office.
On April 10, lawyer Ara Zohrapyan stated that the court had granted the appeal of Garegin II's defense, allowing for the removal of the pretrial restriction that barred him from leaving.
A criminal case has been initiated against Garegin II concerning allegations of failing to execute a court ruling in the case of Arman Saroyan (the former Bishop Gevorg).
