Rosatom is set to complete the final evacuation of its employees from the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran this week. This was stated by the corporation's head, Alexey Likachov.
According to him, more than 200 employees are expected to leave the plant and relocate to Armenia. The evacuation is being carried out for security reasons.
At the same time, Rosatom will not completely cease its presence at the facility. Likachov noted that around 50 volunteers, including safety specialists, will remain on site.
He emphasized that operations will continue with a reduced workforce, ensuring necessary oversight and safety at the plant.
