Lars Is Closed

The Rescue Service reports that the roads in the territory of Armenia are mostly passable. The roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress and the Kary Lake are closed. The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers and is difficult for other types of vehicles.

Drivers are urged to travel exclusively with winter tires.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia’s North Ossetia, the Stepanavank-Lars road is closed for all types of vehicles.
