New Secretary Appointed to Iran's Supreme National Security Council
Mohammad Baqer Zolghadr has been appointed as the new Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council. This information was shared by Mohammad Mehdi Tabatabai, the head of public relations for the presidential administration.
According to Tabatabai, Zolghadr's candidacy was confirmed by Iran's Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei. This decision was made within the framework of established procedures.
Tabatabai also noted that the appointment was conducted under the directive of Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian, officially granting Zolghadr the powers of the council's secretary.
The Supreme National Security Council in Iran is responsible for shaping the country's security and strategic policy directions.
